Laurent Zeimet studied law at the Universities of Cologne (Germany) and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and holds a master degree Maîtrise/LL.M. in German and French.
He is the mayor of Bettembourg since 2011 and a member of parliament.
Laurent Zeimet was a member of the Conseil d’Etat (Council of State) the consultative body in Luxembourg’s legislative procedure.
